basic steps to make your server up!

well what i'm trying to use here is the basic steps to put your server up

hope u enjoy it

Software needed:

Partition Magic-

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

Sql 200 evaluation version-

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

Notes: its not necessary but it's recomended that u use a D: driver to the server, that's why you neeed the partition magic.

------------------------------------------
Lets get started:

Download partition magic
install it
Follow the procedures shown in the software to create your partition!
After u get it...extract there your muserver folder
And first step is done


Now install sql on your computer
(use on of the many guides of ragezone to do it)
and restore both MuOnline and Ranking databases


After this you will need to open a ODBC source in your control panel
in the administrative tools sections-Odbc manager
choose to do it with sql autenthication service =)

now you only need to configure the ip's in the muserver folder:

In
Data
Cs
Gameserver
Joinserver

well the places depend much of the version u use =P



REMEMBER: this is a basic tutorial...to get it working you need many tutorials from ragezone that will help you following my steps!

btw. u dont need a D: dive... you can make on any drive a muserver...

i said ....its not necessary, but for conflict problems its recomended using d: drive
