BEC with DayZ SA Server - How?

I want to use BEC on my server for automated messages, restarts and other things but i had no luck configuring it. It's stuck at "Waiting for server startup". Is it possible at this stage to run bec with the DayZMP server? (as official providers are now using it i assume it's possible, but how?)
