BeGa Admin Tool

don't worry MOT7, You should not hurry to fix it, we can change/removed the alphanumeric key password anytime.
but in future, must be enable it to protect against brute force :)

yes, i know what you're thinking about! brute force is and was always something that gets more attention because of new and faster CPUs and stuff!

addition:
i'm working at the rank fix and found some nice formula which could be the right one! but it needs a LOT of time, because it doesn't seem to be that easy to implement like the send option for items via mail
next update will only contain some small fixes and the character editor with deactivated buttons (those where i can't gurantee that they work without problems), but i will release it today or tomorrow because i can understand the design problems and if you're using a tool, which should make your work more comfortable you don't wanna try a hundred times,to get the close button pressed

Hmmm, why not...
Ok, one of the next versions will have a list with users being online.
Do you want the character Idx and name/level or the account data ? account ID, UserNum ?

I hope in item sender u dont need to manually put the Item ID and Item Opt just automatically like Balq Toolz, it is the best toolz Ive ever used.

balq ? hm... i didn't used it and i don't know what functions it contains!
at the moment i'm planing the item creation, but i don't really know how to do it yet.
Yes, at the moment you have to input the option id's and so on your own. on item creation you will (if i can implement it that way) be able to create an item, give it some personal name and it will be created and saved in a xml file which you can look up. then you can type the id and other values into the mail system and send it. otherwise i would have to implement the whole lists into that code or implement huge classes. maybe i'll find another way to do it, but for now, you'll have to type them in manually.

i think that is not that hard to create the item code (via tool) and then type it in ?!

Remember:
i'm still developing, so i'm able to change that system, nothing is impossible :):

here's the Balq Toolz

OHHHH man damn. that's exactly what i didn't want to see :(:
look at his data folder. the item_type.xml and cabal.xml. i don't wanna know, how long he needed to create that files. and you have to implement new items with every new EP or version. balq is NICE , can't say anything different, BUT
1) i can't create such big files because i don't have time to
2) if i would do it the same way, my tool needs 1 or 2 month more to get finished and i think it would be better and easier if you type in the optionID and so on yourself. BUT i care about your suggestion and i'll release my own created item lists so you won't have any problems to find the item you need and create it with my "itemCreation"-tool i'll release.
3) i got some ideas, which will help users to create items fast and send them without great afford, but it will take its time to be coded, i'll try my best...

thanks for the link and your suggestion!

Edit:
If i find some better algorithm to get items created i'll implement that and credits will go to you. i'll try my best!!!!!! :thumbup1:

account number,account id,charidx,name, level,map etc ^^

and for the Mail System put a box where we can type text in sending mails... ;)

Hm, i thougt that the basic text send is "Please take your Items and/or Alz" is kind a nice, because you're sending it by system and why typing in a new message for every single mail send...
Ok, i'll do it that way:
1) if you type in your message, it will be send.
2) if you leave the field empy, then i'll send the standard text...
hope that will be fine this way and meets your requirements! :):

sorry for my previous reply, i didn't see the earlier post of elvise, i forgot to refresh this thread before making a reply.

No problem, better add IP adress now then later on and i have to look up the function again and control/test it twice :thumbup1:

I would suggest in the mail system that the current values/text we put in the boxes will be retained after sending the item. In this way, we make it easy sending an item again with the same charIdx and itemoption so that we will change the itemID only.

Balq tool uses the item.dec as the base, yet the xml files are just name wise (item section). Its pretty much simple for any user to update it with new data and takes really no such a effort to do so. Making a tool that actually force the user to do something on its own is not really a bad idea. Only excuse they could come with is been lazy. In mine opinion, ppl are looking for a tool that could help them out with itemOPT, specially the unique ones. Thats the maybe part you should look into. All other stuff is just cosmetic and excuses for beein lazy, writing the sql statements are really hard?

"[...] writing the sql statements are really hard?" Just depends what you wanna do and what your statement result should look like. basic sql is easy. sql gains difficulty when there are more variables and you start including more and more tables into one statement (for example like i did on nation war points (statistics)).

"[...] ppl are looking for a tool that could help them out with itemOPT [...]" yes, i can understand that. i got the post on ragezone and found the way how the item codes are created a few weeks ago. i just found it quite simple but the challenge is, to implement an algorithm that creates the item without any faults and is able to combine the correct values. as i posted before: i will take care of that and i will try to get the item creation-tool working! it will give the possibility to create items and store them so you have to create it once and then you can add them to the mail tool and send it. BUT i'm just developing it and i'm not sure about the way i do it. will take some time...

thanks for your information on balq tool.
