Where is the data for bless castle saved? is it the blesscastle.dat file in the server route or in db? im asking because im adding a real time updater to my new aspx web project so that bless castle auto changes on website. I thought it would be relative to cwin/CLoss in the database but apparently not.

it is not in a string. use hexworkshop and the right arrow and keep "watching" the data inspector untill you find a suspicious clan code. I really dont remember the offset atm... :grr:

try this:

Code:
var byte = File.ReadAllBytes("blesscastle.dat");
var leader = BitConverter.ToInt32(byte,0xF0);

Code:
Imports System.IO
Public Class Form1
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, _
ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
        Dim readStream As FileStream
        Dim msg As String
        Try
readStream = New FileStream("c:\blesscastle.dat", FileMode.Open)
            Dim readBinary As New BinaryReader(readStream)
            msg = readBinary.ReadString()
            MsgBox(msg)
            readStream.Close()
        Catch ex As Exception
            MsgBox(ex.ToString)
        End Try
    End Sub
End Class

i had that so far :P ill try your method. mine is having problems searching for and converting the string.

Thanks Mate :)

I love it when people put their heads together and pull out a corker. :D:

Gratz.

im now getting the error that bc wont start on its own. what is the correct format for bless castle set up in hotuk?

From http://forum.ragezone.com/f399/full-hotuk-configurations-650514/

//Bless Castle Settings - Bitmask enables BC warp when set at "32", BlessCastle = Day (Sunday = 1, Monday = 2,...), Siege_Time = Local host time 0 12 = 12pm (noon) server time)
//The way I have it setup below is an example, which means BC will be started every Sunday at 12pm noon (server local time), but you can change that to your own date and time and make sure to remove the "//" before the *Event to enable.

//*EVENT_BITMASK 32
//*EVENT_BLESSCASTLE 1
//*EVENT_SIEGE_TIME 0 12

+1 for that. And thanks for the fix also. Have you figured out anything more about gettime?

another problem -.- im not sure why, but now BC wont set the new castle master. Dunno why, i can do it fine with the command, but if you run through the castle and kill everything it wont update, Know why?

its okay, was my program :P it was opening the blesscastle.dat every 50 interval on a timer loop, i dont know why i made it do that 0.o but its updated now in the releases section :)

@oracl3: Why for you bump? Is this related to the OP? Doesn't look like it is. More like the release, where bumping isn't so frowned on.
