I saw lots of people make great signatures with crap renders, he's still trying out photoshop, there's a pretty big difference between Gimp/Paint.net compared to it, brushes shouldn't be any main part of the signatures (brushes are for talentless people).
He said he was doing a quickie as well.

Give at least SOME feedback, and i suggest you stick with GIMP.
