Look at the title "Butterfly CMS" so it's only Butterfly compatible.
But with some little edit in the CMS, then also Phoenix compatible.

What about you + IIS = No htaccess?

I'm using XAMPP on my laptop, because IIS doesn't like to configure correctly on my laptop. Give me a VPS and I'll gladly do it.

As said by Leon and Martin, you can use either iis or apache. IIS, uses URL rewrite and apache uses .htaccess. Same results..

Wonder how many actually understands my equation.

Your equation is simple. You're basically saying Apache with a .htaccess file is the same as IIS with URL rewrite setup.

Although the 'equation' is wrong, don't you mean Apache + htaccess = IIS + web.config

URL Rewrite is not the same as htaccess, htaccess contains the rewrite rules but can do more, just like the web.config contains rewrite rules.

Anyway, I don't like ASP.NET much, there are much better languages at there for web development.
