Ive done this a long time ago but i cant seem to remember how. Someone showed me how to Save a file from your resource list which is embedded into your program, into a directory.

Can any body tell me how to acheive it?

To compile a Visual C# program? Just click build..

Do you mean change the default directory that Visual C# saves the project to? If yes, go to Tools -> Options, check the "Show all settings" box, and click on Projects and Solutions.
