Yes, but people can easily just use another client.

They won't if magic key is changed... Just change your Magic Key on server and client and pack it.

Magic key? Whats that? If someone could tell me where the services is stored, i mean the LoginServer "executable"... so i can take a look at it

You do realise that the server doesn't tell the client to DC, right? The client, itself, takes care of that. This means that you can prevent the client from disconnecting if it's the wrong version. The only sure way to prevent someone from using a different client is to use one of the methods I suggested.

If you answer my questions Yamachi of how can i find the folder where the cabal services is stored, maybem i can do some research with them. I am complete noob with Linux, and i am trying more than 1 hour, browsing the folders and cant find them. Please, give me some light

It's an ELF binary. You can analyze it with IDA Pro.

I am still completely lost. I mean, IDA is totaly different from Ollydbg, and i am not an expert with assembly.. any help would be welcome
