ok everyone here shortly I am going to begin work on a CFlyff sever first of all I plan to work from scratch but Im planing to make it run more like eflyff due to some unpopularity of some of its systems

il be releaseing a svn once have somthing worth noteing

hey nini make a svn it would probably help alot and name your project most projects ive seen try to start without those become ignored due to the other server showing clear signs of development while some namless project and no evidence of progress only collect dust

might I ask does anyone know any good screanshot software?

im trying to create detailed developer notes so once i get further along I can release some notes on Formulas and what windows are and such and I need a program that can preform screan shots which are much easier for people to understand

Before I start any actual server work I need to create these notes so that everyone can be aware what does what in game so when they go on official servers to preform their own tests they at least know what they are looking at and not blindly diveing into a game they do not understand


also I do beleive at one point glaphan said the packets were incripted

this is only a theory but they might not be as incripted as you may thing perhaps they are forein charactor that your computer doesnt know how to represent

also anyone have any sudjestions on what codeing language It should be done in

im not going to be picky about it considering I can learn any new programing language in 3 days to a week normally

To get back onto topic though I highly doubt that you'll be doing this as we haven't even seen any previous work from you directly.

Like I wouldn't doubt it if asihden or how ever his name is spelled said he was gonna do it because he has work and a background to show for it.

don't forget. This is a completely different angle on FlyFF. The packets are encrypted and would make for a giant ass headache if you are unfamiliar with encoding and decoding packets. Maplestory is a good place to start getting a feel for it.

I haven't played CFlyFF yet so I don't want to get into specifics. Do it if you can, its your call.

Oh, and Deadly. Memorial Day kicks ass. What better way to honor one of my closest family's death than getting totally plastered all day long. Love it. Tommorrow is going to suck though. lol.

that is fine I was thinking about that myself earlier about it not really haveing an imediate perpose
although about the screan shots thing I had noted that I needed

most of what il be doing at first is information collecting



and even once ive began actual server work im still asking myself how much help do I want from the community because things often can get out of hand with "too much" help even work that somone started can become a vast mase of diffrent peoples methods im sure a few point many developers here have ran across this problem

not to mention most people will dive into this project thinking it works like Eflyff but it is far far diffrent in countless ways

so I plan to take note of everything in Cflyff that a person going into the project would need to know

I had actualy started working on this project 3-4 months ago but after it being tangled in with school, after school clubs, and various other projects I had to put it off a little while

not to mention up till now ive only had time period on the compute 1-2 hours a day if even at (parent's rules)

my dad telling me I was on the computer too much (but he himself spends 5 hours a day minimun on face book)

but they agreed once I get a job at the beggining of this summer and beggin paying for my own internet servise they would stay out of my way
