Yah though but it is technically CoD 5 depending how you look at it, It is not the 5th call of duty game but it is the 5th from the Infinity Ward Company, WaW was not my infinity ward... This game is going to be great until i get assassins creed II then i will be debating which one to play

CoD4 is Modern Warfare - Infinity Ward
CoD5 is World at War - Treyarch
CoD6 is Modern Warfare 2 - Infinity Ward

Activision seem to be swapping between each developer on a yearly basis.

No doubt CoD7 will be Treyarch

It makes since for them to do that. That will ensure they have a release every year. The average production cycle of a game is 18 months.

Not to mention they have already stated that Infinity Ward will be developing the modern based games under the name branding "Modern Warefare" (hence the name of the next game) while Treyarch will be continuing the WWII series under the original "Call of Duty" name branding (hence why COD5 was only called CoD World at War).

Yes, although it is CoD, they are ditching the CoD tag, opting for MW2 only instead.
