Couldn't connect to server.

I know that you'll probably say that code is bad and wait for it to be fixed but can someone explain to me why i can't join the server while i'm hosting?My friends can play and except some crashes and such we don't have much problem with connection.I have experience from other game servers so i know that joining your server while hosting sometimes needs some tricks and such and i already have a solution how to join your server while hosting but it's a little a pain in the arse that you have to do everytime to join which is i'm asking you guys if i can fix it or not, if i can't fix it than at least know the reason and wait for a fix.So here's the problem which you probably know already

Is there a way to fix this? and if not can you explain why?
I'm a first year comp. eng. working on java right now i have some experience on c++ but i don't think i'll be able to write a code for this server because we didn't learn much on c++ and i haven't worked to improve myself on it so it would be good if you could supply me the code too and a tutorial to where i should put it IF there is a solution.

maybe your ports are not open, maybe you have your firewall enabled.

Sorry, I have not read your post completely, just looked at the screenshot.
I think your problems is the same what I have suffered, your router does not have loopback support!

Try this and you can see if my teory is correct.
Put 127.0.0.1 in your browser and i think you can see your www root, but if you put your external IP, you can't see your www root, right?
If this is correct, the only and easy thing you can do is, put this line in your host file


127.0.0.1 00.00.00.00
*00.00.00.00 is your external ip

This is my case: (host file is in the folder: (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

That you can see is my external ip: 62.57.34.180 and my no-ip address, i tell in my host, when i try to connect to my external ip, my pc read this like local ip

Try this and post results and logs!!!

Thanks man, that seems pretty solid.Since the new server files up and i haven't installed them i can't try it but it'll probably work
and btw you're right i can't see my www with my external ip it connects to my modem/router.
