i was wondering after i did a patch at 3.5 gbs of ram, is it possible to delete the files like the folders in models without it removing it from the models.pck itself because i need to free up ram for future stuff in game. what im asking is that is it possible without messing anything up

Solution is not using your game server as a patch server. get a cheap dedi or vps with 16gb of ram for your patcher, and there should be no problem.

Any ram used should be freed once the patcher is done. Do you mean ram or disk space? Also have to agree with Swoosh, it would be far better to have the patcher on a separate server.
