you first need a webs erver to host your control panel files. Wampserver or vertrigoserv is a good example of a web server. Google those if you want them. Basically, if you want to connect to your own server you would need your LAN IP. whatsmyip.com gives you WAN IP so that other people can connect to your server. Read over some guides that are related to this topic for a better understanding.

if you have a webserver, you can choose those IPs WAN and Lan to access the site... all u need is the control panel , edit configs then boom!..
