Custom Launcher with Integrated Registration System
Hello everyone,
I’m sharing a preview of a custom launcher developed for my Aeternum project.
This launcher was created to give the server a more professional and complete presentation, instead of using only a basic client executable. The main idea was to centralize the most important player actions in one place and make the first contact with the game more polished, organized, and visually connected to the project.
Demonstration video:
The launcher includes an integrated registration system, allowing players to create their accounts directly from the launcher. The register panel contains fields for login, e-mail, password, password confirmation, security question, and security answer.
Once the player submits the form, the launcher sends the data to the server-side system and creates the account directly in the database, returning a confirmation message after the process is completed.
Current Features
The visual design follows a dark fantasy style, with custom buttons, gold details, and a layout inspired by classic MMORPG launchers.
The objective was to make the launcher feel like part of the game environment, not just a separate utility. The interface was designed to give the project a stronger identity and create a better first impression for new players.
Purpose
The purpose of this launcher is to make the player experience more complete from the beginning. Instead of forcing players to register manually through an external website, control panel, or database tool, the launcher provides a direct and simple registration flow.
It also allows the server owner to display useful information before the player enters the game, such as server status, game version, patch notes, news, and important links.
The current version already works with account registration and basic launcher navigation, and it can be expanded later with features such as automatic updates, news integration, account recovery, ranking pages, or additional server information.
This is not intended as a tutorial, only a presentation of the launcher and its current functionality.
If anyone is interested, I can post a tutorial later showing how the launcher was made and how the integrated registration system works.
