Lol, you can keep coming up with problems and I can keep coming up with solutions. I had a bit of experience with the eFlyff channel merging, when they combined pairs of channels into single ones. If there were duplicate character names, they added a 1 to the beginning of the name and the next time the character logged in, they got a free name change. If you're going to recover an account that has already been remade, just change the name lol same with char names.

yea ofc every problem got a solution, i presents the problem to avoid anybody forget about them on coding such like that. ofc that way is a solution again but brings more and more complexity into that topic. nobody would like to code that kind of script, and everybody would be too lazy to do something by hand in that case. banning stays the best solution in that case.

btw, database merging experiences arent foreign for me.
