I didn't catch the purpose of this thread until I went to fame and was shocked at the plagiarism from the offending group.

When I saw it I was wondering what was the purpose, then I saw who made the post and the fame's like layout(I played fame just before the first wipe, I dont know much about its style, but it was enought :P).
Seriosly, whats the point of having a private server that looks like another? Like I said many times, keyword for success is to be unique. For example, when the server I was a GM at implemented the first job change/reset position/buffs, many people came, when it was announced that rebirth was ready to implement, many more came, now every server have those things, which will you choose? The one with less lag, unless any of them have a nice unique feature.

At least there will always be a server with SOMETHING different than others.

But anyways, this is wayyy low. Taking a site then changing the copyright is pure rubbish. He deserves what's coming.

If they stole your work, you should be able to get in their system, i don't know if its the same for every game, because on gunz online private servers, when someone grabs a file or coding and puts it in their database for their server, you can easily get int because your files in there.

Idk. but yeah its sucks people can't basically do things on their own.
 
lol... with html files i doubt it that you can get into someone elses comp bud ;) The people who ripped it pretty much ripped the images and css part, i guess they did that because there is no legit copyright... but still, gay :P so they deserve what they need lol
 
I think it was wrong on their part to steal. Like Zebra mentioned there was no copyright. However, being that Fame is the best emulator out there (or official clone :) ) its more of an understanding that no one should steal from them, ever.

Its like a respectable copyright. You leave them alone because they do good work and they are well liked. Ripping them off makes even the coolest person become Noob Saibot. Ha, little MK humor there!
 
Lol i still dont know why people would rip fames... out of all you cud rip you rip fames.. mayb they wana steal fames accounts or something and trick the ppl xD but ohwell, is there any more tickets for sale?!
 
Yeah lazy peeps, even though it probably would be faster to download a template then ripping one. Noobs is all i can say ;)
