Drop rate is...wrong?

Hey everyone!

I need some help here......thing is...I edited the NPC drops using the ItemTool version 1.3 I think, converted the itm to excel, editted the items to 10 000 000 probability, converted back to itm, replaced the files correctly and....

it didnt work!

now NONE of them give WZ or a single item, even if I kill 1 million of them! :tongue:

I want 100% drop rate + 100% WZ chance for all monsters ^^

to get a 100 % drop rate u must keep equal % of drop rate to all items
For eg:

if u notice there are only 52 items which are suppose to be dropped (65535 is no drop and 0 is wz drop)
So what u must do is count the number of items that the monster drops ( in case of eq its 52) . Then divide 10,000,000 by the number of items i.e 52 u get 192307.692207.... Just round figure it and put it in all places.

And u get 100% drop rate to tat monster...:
(P.S- just to confirm, once u conver it to .itm file, reconvert the new .itm file to .xls file and check whether the changes are made.

But....does that mean, if I want to put 100% drop rate to every single monster in da game, I have to count how many items it can possibly drop, divide the 10.000.000 of it on EVERY monster ID ?

I was counting on something less time consuming hehe, like a program or whatever but thanks a lot anyways =)

Actually there is no program or such (i am not sure). But i have done it thru this way. Select a list of monsters for which u want 100% drop and then alter its drop rate....

IT will be easy using excel func i guess (like count, sum etc)

It is a lengthy process but cant help. i can upload files which have all 100% drop rate

Just copy those to Zoneserver/Zonedata/npc and restart Zoneserver. u ll get 100%drop rate

Only little prob, is that WZ rate is identified as an item prob too.

So there is a 1/50 chance of WZ gain if a monster can drop 50 items, for example.

Not to mention there is also a 1/50 of no item drop too =(

You cant get Drops and Wz both at a time.... Try manipulating the wz code with a higher drop %.
