I found out why it was not working. I just had the wrong patch. I also decided to change the md5 check sum to match the new Rose Eveloution NA works fine now.

I am currently making a project called DragonOnline A 2D online rpg im making, but i was thinking of starting a 200mbit Phantasy Star Online server again and adding new quests and such.

Please tell me what i should make.

Either a good PSO (3D MMO) Community

Or a Good 2D MMO Communuty

3D is easier then 2D... and if your asking which one you should make... dont make a game at all.

i agree... having to ask people which one to make or how to make it shows that you are not completely serious about this... you need atleast 8-16 people on your team to make a MMO which would take around 2-6 years of hard work, i personaly wouldnt mention that i am making a game (personal reasons)...

1. Npc Will talk, but not sell/ give quests etc.
2. Monsters / Exp rate not good.
3. Skills ? dont know didnt buy them but i dont think..

Its because its the workings of a Rose Online EMU. There is still lots go things that need to be added. When these things have been added and are supported in the server runtime then you can complain that its a bug, but in the meantime try and work on logging some packets from the offical servers, find out how they work, simply log a couple of the same doings. Say buying an item, buy another item compair code find out what is happening. Then come back and share your findings and maybe then you may have something that you have contributed to instead of complaining about features that dont exist in this current project atm.

When I open login server it crashes and world/char open but have failed to check sum. How do I fix this?

If people are still getting the error at downloading avatar try making another account in the database just for evo that should work.

EDIT: i tryed the fix for fixing the skills error for rose evo but just makes it worst
