Hi All,

I want to run an MSSQL 2014 Instance (Enterprise) with databases in 2008 compatibility mode.
Now I have a different server which will run the server-executables.
Both servers run 2012 R2, I prefer these above 2008 R2 for several reasons, while compatibility should be the same actually.

This is the infra-sketch:

WAN
|
FW---\
LAN |\-------------------MSSQL1
DMZ \-------------------APP1

The APP1 server has full connectivity to the MSSQL1 server since I've not defined all the rules yet.
So there's no issue connectivity issue between both servers.

I am using Virtuos v19 (as a test) but get the following error when running AccountServer:
DB Log Connect Failed

This is my ini file (I removed sensitive information):
TEST
AddTail( -1, 1, "Test", "192.168.x.x", 0, 1, 0 );
AddTail( 1, 1, "Test", "192.168.x.x", 0, 1, 600 );
SKIP_TRACKING

DSN_NAME_LOGIN "login"
DB_ADMIN_ID_LOGIN "account"

DSN_NAME_LOG "log01"
DB_ADMIN_ID_LOG "log01"

MSG_VER "20140620"

DB_PWD_LOGIN "sa"
DB_PWD_LOG "***********" //SA PASSWORD

Here are some screenshots of the User DSN's I made in ODBC (both 32 bits and 64 bits), this is an example of the character dsn.

What am I overseeing, forgetting or missing?

Thanks!
Jesper
