i use Hamachi and i use .bat but when i log in it says "login fail" :crazy:

Lot's off things can do that:
Or your ip's are not correct in one of these files:
- lconfig.nhd
- loginserver.conf
- charserver.conf
- worldserver.conf

another possibility is that you are not running, xamp, loginserver, charserver, and wordlserver.exe (in that order). Or you have a router and you didn't forward your ports.

xamp is not realy working at my computer i don't know why.. :O

(zeg eens eerder dat je nederlands bent ) alright he's dutch but i say this in english: Do not put xamp in the program files folder but in the C:/ directory!!! so it becomes:

C:/xampplite...

and second, it seems (for they who understand dutch) that you use a router, so forward your ports... (check the main topic)

Than do what i said install xamp again!! in the C directory, (wich is doen automaticly i think) you can also try to cut the folder and paste it into C but i don't know that's gonna work

hmmm. He talks about your network and ports so something must be wrong with your ports, just a second i'm searching :d
Edit: Found:

The ports you need to forward are: 29000, 29100, 29200, 80
If your using the multi world, you need to forward: 29000, 29100, 29200, 29101, 29201

starting apachi and mysql.. but i use (my SQL 4.1 and it works fine and when i try to start Xampp its says port 3306 is already in use..)

what can i do? how does it work?

Xampp server come with MySQL 5... Why in the hell you still using v4?

If Xampp not work download this here and install it as normal

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

And install it....
That problem i had 2....

Did you install Xampp? With the name: setup_xampp.bat. It's in the same folder.
