Hello Ragezone Community,

I would like to share a set of Grand Chase – First Chase Season V EP II stock files that I have stored. The files are almost complete; the only missing components are the Sort and Kom Manager source codes.

Below is a quick guide on how to set up the files for local or online use, along with the necessary download links.

Setup Guide

Step 1:
Download and install Windows SDK 8.1.
Windows SDK 8.1 :

Step 2:
Install Visual Studio 2022, ensuring that the Visual Studio 2015 and 2017 components are included during installation.
VS_ENT :

Step 3:
Open the First Chase Client solution (.sln).
In the Solution Explorer, locate Define_common.h, then update the following value:
LOGIN_SERVER_IP: YOUR_IP_HERE
After editing, Rebuild the solution.

Step 4:
Restore the database using SQL Server 2022 or higher.
Update the IP addresses in the following tables:
SQL Server :
ENU Setup :
  • dbo.ConnectStatusDB
  • dbo.ConnectStatusDB2
  • dbo.GSGAGameServerInfo
  • dbo.MSGRouterList
  • dbo.MSGServerList

Step 5:
Edit the IP addresses and ODBC configuration files for each server.
Ensure the ODBC settings point to your SQL Server instance.

Sorry for the late reply
Try this

Here is how to fix it:

Method 1: Retarget the Solution (Easiest Fix)

This automatically updates the project to use the Windows SDK versions currently installed on your PC.

  1. In the Solution Explorer (right side of the screen), right-click on the top-level Solution item (usually named Solution 'Season V EP2 Client').
  2. Select Retarget Solution.
  3. A window will pop up. Under Windows SDK Version, select the latest version available (e.g., 10.0.19041.0 or similar).
  4. Click OK.
  5. Try to Build again.

Method 2: Manually Add UCRT Include Paths

If retargeting doesn't work (or if you need to keep specific legacy settings), you must tell the compiler where to find the missing headers.

  1. Right-click the Game project in Solution Explorer and select Properties.
  2. Ensure the Configuration at the top is set to All Configurations and Platform is Win32.
  3. Navigate to Configuration Properties > VC++ Directories.
  4. Click on the Include Directories drop-down arrow and select Edit.
  5. In the list, double-check that the option "Inherit from parent or project defaults" is CHECKED.
  6. If it is checked and still failing, manually add this macro to the list:
    • $(UniversalCRT_IncludePath)
  7. Click OK and then Apply.
  8. Note: You may also need to do this for Library Directories and add $(UniversalCRT_LibraryPath_x86).

Method 3: Install the Windows SDK

If corecrt.h is completely missing from your computer, you need to install it.

  1. Open the Visual Studio Installer.
  2. Click Modify on your installed version of Visual Studio.
  3. Go to the Individual Components tab.
  4. Search for "Windows 10 SDK" (or Windows 11 SDK).
  5. Make sure the latest version is checked and install it.
