Flyff maste editing guide

first of all this is a guide how to do alot of editing to the client that has been largly ignored throuh these being posted and being ignored

I made some walk throughs in it but I couldnt get to ress editing but il post a how to later and how to use the new ress extractor for those untrusting of FRM

well anyways Hope you all like what ive got the programs I take no credit for

im not posting the origanal posters right now but im, going to I just dont have enouphe time to look atm

the ress exractor in the files above will be able to ectract even more files than he shows so be sure to explore

btw only this post and the txt files in there are by me ......... and actualy puting them together for everyone to FINALY take advantage of is by me too I guess

Update: ok here is how you use the ress extractor note you must MUST! have it on your desktop or folder on your desktop other wise your computers defences will probably eats it


ok take the folder "extracteur ressources flyff" open it and then open the next folder by the exact same name then folder "Bin"

next comes Debug the program "extracteur ressources flyff.exe" is it it doesnt require any of the other filesin the folders just the exe but I respect the creators choice in release it as open source


ok once its on your desktop open it and press the "open" button find your flyff folder

just kinda wander around a bit may be see if there is anything specic your lloking for what res it may be in

once youve opened it let it do its unpacking it will show the list of files packed inside (NOTE: you will notice in alot of the other editors there are seamingly missing files but truth is they are hideing in the .res files there are even files of things to come like new monsters even stuff from forein flyff's)


ok look through the list check the files that you want and press extract


after that look for a folder named exracted in the folder or on your desktop

(wherever you had your "extracteur ressources flyff.exe")


edit them to your hearts content also alls you need to do is stick them in the folder you got it from and it will work


Have fun edditing Pros / Noobs / leachers ok mabe I dont wish for leachers to have fun but yeah whatever

Gimp Shop:

Tip 1: in gimpshop even simple edits such as inverting the colors can make them look DRAMATICLY better but dont take my word for it try it and take a look

Tip 2: zooming in to 800% helps a ton

Tip 3: use the fact that the color slowly fades as you draw a single line to your advandage it makes things look smoother and and less repedative looking

Tip 4: importing other pictures as layers is a nice effect that will allow you capabilit to make some detailed looking stuff

Tip 5: be in a realy realy f'n bored out of your mind mood when useing it you come up with better Ideas when your bored :/

Tip 5: pay attention to even the smallest details cause quite often little mistakes can stick out so try your best

Tip 1: be ready too look through ALOT of files trust me its more than worth it in the end
