Garbage Collecting NPC

It's actually just "label" / "habit". It doesn't really matter, but it's the standard that most programmers uses. The discussion is pointless though.

There are general standard coding conventions that should be followed to maximize the efficiency of the code, even while reading it. I think that it can be looked at similar to how in sports there is a proper form but there will always be people who can and will do it the way they see fit.

Good resource, not just for c++.

Hahaha I'm talking about coding in general not what you learn from NPC tutorials, lmfao. There's coding outside the maplestory world buddy... Go back to your NPC coding, probably the only thing you're able to code. You said it's in best practice which means it's the better way also you said you don't know why it's better... Hahaha what a tool, why don't you go actually learn how to program instead of learning how to code for maplestory, big difference.

Anyways, I'm done with this thread, too much ignorance.

Hey kid. Get your brains and read.

Your suddenly talking about the code in general. But he was talking about the looks of the script all along (If the script is clean it can be easily edited and people can see what it's doing) thats what he was talking about all along. But you suddenly changed what he was saying just to show that you think you know how to program ?

Are you seriously slow? Regardless of JavaScript or Java, it's case sensitive. I specifically said it is in good practice to have multiple word methods lowercased for the first word. Never did I say it was the better way. No **** there's coding outside of MapleStory, how the hell do you think anything you use in modern day life works? Apparently you took my words too literal when I said "I don't know why". When I said that, I meant, there's no exact reason because frankly, there isn't. I've admitted it doesn't matter, as long as you continue to use the same case each time you use it. Talking about ignorance, but can't accept the fact you flamed for an obviously retarded reason because you read what was said for meaning something other than what it was. Hell, if he really wants, he can use the method as EtClIsT, as long as he continues doing so, but do you see that done when reviewing the majority of peoples' codes? No. You see it as I stated, etcList. Why? Because as I've stated a few times now, it's good practice and is more appealing.

Now please, stfu. I hate how retards such as yourself really think NPCs are "easy", because when they think of NPCs, they think only of the generic ones. NPCs are done in JavaScript (Odin based src obviously). That means you can do whatever the hell you want with them within the JavaScript language. It's funny how people down talk JavaScript (NPCs), yet it's one of the most popular and widely used languages in the world. -_- Now who is the ignorant one?

Your final comebacks are always long, and always win :P

where do i add this code:

public String etcList(MapleCharacter player) {
StringBuilder str = new StringBuilder();
MapleInventory etc = c.getPlayer().getInventory(MapleInventoryType.ETC);
for (IItem item : etc.list()) {
str.append("#L");
str.append(item.getPosition());
str.append("##v");
str.append(item.getItemId());
str.append("##l");
}
return str.toString();
}
