This is a culmination of my boredom and desire to upskill.
AI Disclosure: AI was used for 99% of the parity testing with the original (playing clients, recording data, comparing against old entity logs, etc). AI set up all the Glaze code. AI also did a final "fix any bugs and highlight anything really weird" pass.

Here are the conditions of release:
1) give me a bit of credit wherever you use this sourcecode, for whatever reason.
2) this sourcecode is not for financial gain.
3) do not modify this sourcecode and re-release it with malware (yes, it is large enough that someone might try that).
4) I am not here for support.

This is a full client and server. It is not compatible with original clients. It has many differences and modifications compared to the original, but the physics and gameplay is the same.

Client
- Rendering : SDL3 + SDL_GPU (Vulkan/Metal). Runs on Mac, Linux, Windows.
- Text : MTSDF
- UI : Every screen is built into a .json panel and there is an editor.
- All mobiles + validation against the original clients
- Solo, Score, Tag, Jewel, Powerball, Team Turn
- All items
- All weather
- All pets
- Bots (/bots in a game if enabled on server)
- S1 style gold rewards
- Rejoining games + replays (press ` while not in a game / textbox) + observing (click on a game in progress)
- Server configuration for pretty much everything
- Gambling
- Shop

Server
- One executable that can be spawned multiple times to run different servers (world/broker/accounts)
- MySQL 8.4 for storage
- Replays stored in s3-compatible storage (garage in the example dockerfile)
- Single docker compose set up
- TLS 1.3
- ArgonId for passwords
- Rate limiting, input validation, sim validation ("anticheat")

Larger changes
- Fully unique protocol over TLS1.3 (composed with Glaze BEVE). No p2p, no UDP, all traffic through server(s).
- No master control, it's all simulation on the server for validation
- Ignored Gcoin, TP, cafe gradesm tutorial, profile page, tag attack.
- Most client bugs fixed, including the non-working item2s, and the buggy homing effects.
- Ice S2/Armor S2 tornado bugs were left in tact
- Determinism is guaranteed (and verified against)

What's actually not built
- Guilds
- Moderation/Admin
- Events

I am not going to develop this further, I've gotten bored / uninterested after a long time of working on it. This does not include any assets, and you must supply your own 1149 .xfs. I am not here to assist you with the code, modifying it, running a server, or doing anything like that - unless you pay me my hourly rate up front.

To be very honest, I didn't want to release this, and frankly feel like it's just going to fade into oblivion anyway. But as I said, I'm bored and uninterested now.

Have fun.

I’m really curious who are you. Maybe one day you can say for us. Great job.

I’m doing a season 2 rewrite , now the physics are working pretty good, my problem is the fallbacks that some mobiles play specifics animations, and I’m checking every single mobile manually. I’ll check your code, maybe its can help me to finish faster.

Thanks.

Hands down, one of the best projects I've seen shared with the community here. I hope I get some time to dig into it, but either way, I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into this and your willingness to share it with us. Thanks a lot!

Thank you again, jadsjdjf1. It is so fun to just jump into a Gunbound match. Do you have a GitHub I can follow, or a Discord where I can check out your different projects? I haven't been this excited since Cryto137's Marvel Heroes emulator. I really enjoyed reading all the updates you kept posting; the whole thing is fantastic, and thanks again for adding the bots.
