Re: [Help] Can You Teach?

No one can teach you remotly i guess, only way to learn it is: read hella of tutorials, buy books and do one by one, read with understanding the goals of the programming, patterns etc. Discipline, sacrafice, ambitions, no less no more. Start with small things then expand them as you can and futher.

Re: [Help] Can You Teach?

Im afraid you need to know basic maths to code :P you should really try harder if you are failing.

Re: [Help] Can You Teach?

If you fail at all other subjects, how come you don't fail at ICT? ICT has a lot of maths involved, or physics for 3D games.

We won't teach you (of course!), you should be able to handle things yourself and not depend on others. You learn much and much better if you do it yourself (which also means you are highly motivated, and don't need someone else's motivation).

Also, are we talking about programming or scripting? VB is not programming, it's between scripting and programming. Use it only for quick business apps, I would go with C# for business apps though and C/C++ for anything else (actually, C/C++ for business apps as well).

If you want to make a server the 'non-hard way (C/C++)' choose Java.

But please, don't even try to use VB for anything further then a game launcher. It's evil.

You forgot trial and error, another important one.
As Daevius said, VB is horrible for games.

If your looking for a job in ICT, it depends what field your going for..
Below is a few basic things I can think of - with basicly what you need

Web design - HTML, PHP, CSS, - Javascript would be useful too.

PC repair - Know your way around the pc's hardware, know most functions of each part too.

Games - Patients is a key, knowing C++ fluently can get you into jobs such as Rockstar leeds (GTA Developers) etc.

You should get an idea of which field you want to go into...

Games -> C++
Programs -> C++, C# or any scripting language (if you don't care about execution speed)

you need to graduate no matter what you do. I'm kind of stuck because I didn't finish my senior year, and for all any business owner cares, that means I didn't finish high school. Now I'm stuck HAVING to learn this stuff AND get my GED at the same time.. The good thing about coding is, you can get rich without finishing highschool. The bad thing is, that you actually think you can get rich without finishing hichschool. You can't even clearly see the loop of destruction forming.

Well a gd job would be hostingur own private server and collect donations from players

It is a risk coz of nexon and of it being succesful or just failing
