[General] File acces logging program.

Hi I'm looking for a program that can log files that are accessed when a program is booted. I know Vista has this built in, but i do not have vista. I use XP.

So, that a program creates a files where it will output its activities/history?

What programming language? This is fairly easy to do though...

assembly language. I just need to log which files are accessed when a program is running.

Edit: Like I start up program Y and from a user input entry point, the program accesses files. Loging which Files are accessed after the user input entry point.

I hope I'm making sense.
