There's been a huge price drop for the 9800GX2... $290 per card nowadays :O

Depends where he is, it's $675 AUD here. Also keep in mind the prices heavily depend on how many people are buying them ; nVidia may have dropped their price but if the stores are still stocking the cards form before the price drop, they will still be at the original price. Shops aiint gonna drop their prices just cos Nvidia has, they still gotta sell what they have at a price higher than what they bought them for.
