This is NOT my work, but it's what I used when I wanted to learn how to compile and it does work, if done right.

Hello everyone I Hated the Other Tutorial, It only gave some of the information on how to do it, i spent over 5 HOURS To find out I was missing a PPSDK when linked to it was wrong version had to find right version.... So i Decided to update this guide on how i Installed and got SOURCE to work.


STEP 1 : Dowload of Files Nessesary to Use MSVC++ 2005 Express. :

1. Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2005 (Dont Use 2008 This platform doesnt work on it) :

2. Microsoft Platform SDK Files (Required MUST HAVE 2003 Not Normal SDK!!) :

I GET ERRORS. this is just for the ascent the rest throws error's also.
A name was started with an invalid character.

You may have typed a incorrect character somewhere in that file when u were editing it. Or VB may just be acting weird idk. I'd maybe try to find anything that seems awkward in the file.

Hy there excelent tutorial ..but for some reason i can't open the link to svn asccent with TortoiseSVN-1.4.5.10425-win32-svn-1.4.5.msi if anyone could upload it to filebeam or rapideshare would be nice.

When you are compiling, remember you can't compile scripts and ascent at the same time. You will fail.

.damn i am felling soo silly to ask this but .. where does it saves the compiles by default cause i can't seem to find them ..i said everyting was ok 0 build error ..just some hundreds of warnings ..LOL )

You can choose where you want them to save.. are you using TortoiseSVN?

Yes ..but i know about tortoise .. i don't know where saves Visual C++ the builds it makes from those svn

Oh those. Check your "bin" folder, then "release", there is your files.
