I'm having problems with "unable to connect" and I'm not sure how to fix it,
I've tried a few things that it said, but im guessing its the sql.dll file, I cant find it anywhere though =/
So I downloaded a new sql.dll after spending a while looking for the old one (where could it have gone?) And my new file didnt have the code I needed in it "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1"

So a question would be~
Where can I find the origional sql.dll?

I'm also wondering, what exactly is hexing? I got HexWorkshop, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with it...What files to hex, ect..
I'm guessing its like hotuk though, am I way off?

I wouldnt waste your time if I didnt already try to fix all this, thanks guys.

About the SQL.dll ~ Provider=SQLOLEDB.(1) I think you can find it in the Fursions repack which are pretty hard to find.. Well, I've got a link where you could download them, but im not 100% sure it works. Anyway, try this link:

Hex Workshop is a program which is pretty much needed if you are going to for example change the cap level limit, or add mixes to the client.exe and so on.

Well, if you have any problems with your hotuk, post it in here and i'll take a look on it.
If there are some problems with it i'll edit it myself and upload as a ini file on megaupload or so.

lol, darn, I downloaded it but it says I need an 1871.rar to extract it -_-'

Hey, I've got the SQL .dll
I have edit it and remove the (.1) from the PROVIDER.etc
Remember, you cannot create manually accounts with this SQL.dll ~ Actually I dont think that you can do it with any SQL.dll
You have to make a register website with babyweb server. Or create one youself without babyweb server. Anyway, as I said, do not even try to create a manually account. When you are trying to log in will you got banned. Hope you get it work. Enjoy! :)

Hey on here i need HELP

How to create a manually account on SQL.

At first log in on the SQL Server. Then follow this guide and hope you get it work: Expand: Databases> accountdb >Tables. You will see a lot of tables. The table you have to use is; dbo *GameUser*
For example, if your first letter of your ID starts at "K", should you choose
"dbo KGameUser" I think should be right. Well then right click on the "dbo KGameUSer" and choose; "Open Table"
At first choose your ID and PW (Remember, your ID have to start at "K")
Then do you need to edit a few things. Well its hard without any guide how to do. So here you are, follow this and you have got an account on your "xPT" server created manually on SQL:

Userid: Account ID
Passwd: Password
Gamecode: 0
Gpcode: 0
RegistDay: 1/1/1900
DisuseDay: 1/1/2100
Useperiod: 30
inuse: 0
Grade: 0
EventChk: 0
Blokck: 0
Specialchk: 0
ServerName: " Your server name"
Credit: 0
Ecoin: 0
StartDay: 1/1/1900
EndDay: 1/1/2100
EditDay: NULL
Rno: 0
DelChk: 0
Channel: 0
Bnum: 0
MXServer: 0
MxChar: 0
MXType: NULL

when i make all those and then click parse

and all i get is this query completed with errors

Msg 911, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Could not locate entry in sysdatabases for database 'AccountDB'. No entry found with that name. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.

that another error fixed but what i type on [AccountDB]

but i've got 2 little problems
1, there are no npc's when im in my server (also kpt server window thingy doesnt show monsters at server state)
2, i cant get admin rights :renske:

Hello, you have to edit your server NPC's youeelf as everybody else does :/
And watch this:

*ADMIN_IP 127.0.0.1 Your IP MUST be in here.
*ADMINISTRATOR_IP 127.0.0.1 And in here.

*ADMIN_LOGIN "Admin" Change to what do you want.
*ADMIN_NAME "Admin" what you should type in the shoutbox, like /:Admin1 (to 3).

*ADMIN_COMMAND "1" choose youself.
*ADMIN_COMMAND "2" choose youself.
*ADMIN_COMMAND "3" choose youself.

And copy this hotuk (open notepad and save it as Hotuk.ini -save it in your gamefolder):

*MODE WINDOW
MFC40.DLL Copyright-2002 /0

Try to type (if the admin_name is "admin" and admin command1 to 3 is as it should.):
/:Admin1
or
/:Admin 1
with a space.
Try some of those alternatives.

i think it has something to do with my client hotuk
i can only use the first hotuk posted in the RFT threat
and in that hotuk is a line: "MFC40.DLL Copyright-2002 /0"
but the only MFC40.DLL i can find is in my c:\windows\system32 folder
i have a MFC70.DLL in my root folder but when i change the client hotuk it still doesnt work

im i little lost here :P

1. what gamefolder are you using?
2. If you're using kPT or ePT is that the problem.
3. Download someone of these alternatives:
rPT, dPT,ChaosPT, cPT, DBPT. You can google them all.

Same problem as that guy above me got, I can't add GM powers to my self.

I'm typing on chat ingame '/:GM1' and '/:GM 1' but nothing happens except the thing that it says GM not connected right now, its really killing me please help. I'm using dPT + BloodPT game.exe and Server_200 files.
