Forgot I still had this. This is GKS 1148 which should be 1 version before the final GIS one. The .gme is dated 2018 instead of 2019, but the filesize seems to be the same. I have no idea what is different, but I heard from garsia that 1049 had stuff stripped from the .gme? Maybe this is before that, but I don't know. It's been too long ago and my gunbound stuff was a huge mess around this time. When GunBound shut down my interest for the game was very low, so I just took things and archived it with not much care.

Added the newest installer (2.1.5) that GGH added at some point. I am also still archiving all their patches, but so far its just really boring. It really is like an unofficial server where sometimes its a custom wait room background and whatnot. If the service ever shuts down I will try provide all their patches, but for now that would be tedious to set up.
 
By pure coincidence I found a few GLS late WC installers when looking for something else

1071 GLS

1071 is tagged S3 but its possible the other two are Season 3 already as well. I think Softnyx was a bit late on tagging their installers as such as well.

EDIT: I took a look at the files and 1047 already has the Season 3 assets. Going move them to the Season 3 category then.

A CD uploaded on archive.org in 2025 contained an installer of GIS TH 230. Dated August 4, 2003. This is very likely the very first public Thor's Hammer installer for the international service, where the previous oldest we had was 236 dated October of same year.

At first look it seems F12 reporting wasn't stripped off the client yet, and the spawn modes are still fully intact. Outside that, its good old very old Thor's Hammer.

Timestamp thread was updated as well. It's very clearly seen that the GIS installer is based on the indonesian version. The report UI is still in indonesian as well. Very neat stuff.

Added GunBound World Champion v1 Taiwan

This was a version that was previously corrupted, re-purchased and this time not corrupted.

Dated 2007-05-21 11:15:15 UTC it seems to be based on the GIS client from that time, making it later than GIS 557. However, weirdly it has some quirks back that older clients had too, such as the channel MOTD corrupting when changing channels, which wasn't present in 557.

Sudden Death mode seems now to be Double Death 40 by default, unlike 557. This was in an official notice added at the time. It seems the Whisper of Spring event is also active, which makes it possible this client also has the mission event functionality, but not sure, since the public leaked server files do not support mission event.

I think this is also when Country Grand Prix was changed to Guild Grand Prix.

Kimmy, its seems a Season 1 client with Season 2 features, thats correct? Missions and GrandPrix with Guilds. This one has any new mobile like phoenix?

Mission and grand prix with guild both happened before season 2. Its why I want(ed) a 585 client so badly.

looked a bit more into this client to try pinpoint the version its based of, and I think its actually quite close to 570 GIS as seen on this video


This client here above was never shared to me, but having this Taiwanese client now and the avatars are exactly the same, even in English:

This makes me believe this Taiwanese version is a close match with 570 GIS. The date seems to support that too. Unfortunately, since I have no access to this 570 client from ElArguedinoX I am unable to verify the timestamp of that client.

I did notice though that, unlike his client, the wind arrow doesn't incorrectly get pushed down on my client when starting event0, so mine could possibly be slightly later.
