GunZ 2 Alpha Source Code

well, you could try to fix your errors in vs2012. Or restore the project and solution files back to their original state, and get a non-express version of vs2008 (because the files use mfc libs and the express edition does not contain these) and try again.

Seeing as how I did post a GunZ 2 dev kit in the past, once someone compiles up the bins and releases them I'll probably do a tutorial on how to use all the dev tools and what you can do with them. (A small guide to get people moving along, I understand them really well can do basic things but I'm not talented mapping/gfx wise.)

I applied what you said, but still the same problem continues

you are using the express version of VISUAL BASIC, you NEED C++. That is why you are getting that error trying to open the C++ project files, because the version of visual studio you are using is expecting visual basic projects.

========== Build: 1 succeeded, 2 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

next time, please put your build log in code tags so it doesnt take up 4 pages

also BloodHunters, next time..

Read the god damn first post, the fix for your "regex" is in plain sight.

With some help from a friend(a great friend, I know you will see this soon ha), I was able to get into the actual game itself.

It's ugly as hell, obviously, but at-least it's another step forward.
