[Help]Buying a new laptop

Hey, well I just recently bought a laptop in January but it is way to big for my liking! I'm thinking of purchasing a new laptop next month and I need some help. I live in Toronto, Ontario so the currency is CAD and my current laptop is

HP DV8000
1 gig ram
GeForce' Go 7600
220 gig harddrive
Intel centrino duo (2 cores)
1.73 Ghz

17 inch widescreen monitor

I bought this for $750 with a laptop bag

If someone could help me find a better laptop for a maximum price of $1100 CAD with a 15.4 inch monitor or bigger and a better graphic card and more ram that would be great!

Thanks! hopefully warranty as well because this laptop doesn't have and it's annoying.

i bought an optima centoris w259, it has a 15.4" lcd, 1.72 ghz core 2 duo, 2gb ram, dvd burner, 160gb hdd. for $300 AUD (3months old second hand)

and i love it, its fast and weighs like 2kg


i highly recommend one
