[help] can't decrypt files L2J

hello, i looked everywere in the server, also with search button, but didn't find anything.
i have a problem, i have to add some custom weapons to my server, so i heard i have to change itemname-e.dat and weaponsgrp. the problem is tath i can't decrypt them. i used l2encdec, he told me everything is worked good, but the files still crypted. wath can i do? help me pls, if u can show me step by step how to do tath pls, the guides for this were cancelled. ty

well, its not that difficult:

first you need to run patcher.exe in your system folder

open a cmd/bash/ksh or whatever u use
go to directory where l2encdec lays

then

l2encdec -s itemname-e.dat enc-itemname-e.dat

then you need to use l2disam:

l2disam -d itemname-e.ddf enc-itemname-e.dat itemname-e.txt

make your changes on the file and then use l2asm:

l2asm -d itemname-e.ddf itemname-e.txt enc-dec-itemname-e.dat

after this you need to reecnrypt the files:

l2encdec -h 413 enc-dec-itemname-e.dat itemname-e.dat

and your done.
if this is too complicated you better use l2fileedit (link somewhere in this forum)

yes it does....i edited some files with l2fileedit or sometimes with l2encdec

how do fileedit work? i mean, i put it into /system, and then?

Well open the program with a doubleclick....then open a dat file and youll see the whole file and you can edit it. When your done simply click save and encrypt and test it....

i double click on it, he open the program for 1 sec and then close it again

We are talking about L2Fileedit?? not about l2encdec...this you have to open with cmd.....like i said before

yes yes is this, i press twice l2fileedit (the program with the l2.exe icon) and it close istantly
