I have set up a rose online server and can connect myself and my friends can connect but my bro cannot connect he is on our own network and i gave him our WAN ip to connect but nope so i gave him my lan ip (10.0.0.9) to connect with but nope he still cant connect. I connect with 127.0.0.1 so i tryed that and nope nothing worked. Is there something i must do to get it working?

If he's on the network (local) then he shouldn't need your WAN ip, he'll need your LAN ip
The only thing that could be blocking him that I can think of is you have is ip blocked on a soft firewall.
That or something is wrong with him client-side.

I'm new to ROSE so I'm just guessing lol

Okk well that didint work, Tryed turning all firewalls of but nope.. He gets to loading avatar screen and then gets system notice thingy. any other iders?

Well that is weird as i also got my server running over a network i config my router to the ports that needed to go out and on my other pc i can get into my serv with my wan ip something is blocking your bro out did he patch the game correctly? and did he or you edit the info in the lconfig file?

Yip every thing is set up right. He also cant connect to my website, He can if he types 10.0.0.9 into his address bar but not the http address

Just weird is all i can think of for this eheh...but you also say your friends can connect to your serv and web site? if that is so something is blocking your bro out firewall some where in the network could be.

Best of luck. :)

I have turned of all firewalls on his computer and mind but still nope. My friends connect to the server and website with my wan ip as they are not on my network. Kidder sad if it dose not work as the main reason i made the server is because him and our friends liked playing rose in till it came pay to play.

EDIT:
Every time he trys and connects it says on my server that he has connected and then he has disconnected

Ports forwarded?

Not sure, but it's worth a try.

Well we have a wireless access point and a router all set up by me. I know the port forwarding is set up fine as it is forwarded so my friends can connect with my wan ip and also i have dont alot of port forwarding before. i will try Akai ider and see what happends
