you should get the 2008 files and heavily customize them ur self or if you want a custom one get gregon's 2007 files (i think they are 2007)

If i where you, i would use the 2007 files, since most edits and tutorials are for the 2007, 2008 has to much bugs you need to fix and it will be hard since its your first time creating a server.

Just use 2007 Jun serverfiles and when your used to it, you can alway's upgrade to the 2008. Look the tutorial section if im right its stickied.

Yeah, 2008 will require you to put a lot of work into your server, if you just wanna get the feel of things, start with 2007 and learn some stuff, then take the leap to '08 there isn't any really good 08 repack (Yet, )

But if you DO decide to go with 2008 don't be hesitant to ask questions, just make sure you do it in an appropriate manner, and search to see if the question was already asked ^.~
