[help] Proxy Problem!

this is not related with server devs but i gottta a problem with my internet connection

i am on a share net and using proxy s/w to connect to internet...
but i am not able to connect to a3updater

so i want to ask what should i use as proxy port no..?
should i change ftp port number?

ne proxy port for connecting a3updater?
like
http 808
ftp 8080


i am total clueless just answer me here
