HELP! SIGSEGV Error!

Hey,

I got a very big problem.
My server was running good yesterday, but then i downloaded rev80 files.
i stopped server, 'installed' rev80 and tried to get server back on again.
Login server works, but charserver gives this error:
SIGSEV error, trying to save..
then it shuts down!
Does some1 know how to fix this?
i already tried rev 76 files, but i get the same error for char server.

Some1 help please, realy need it.

Was your server big? If not, make a whole new folder, and only install Rev80. Do it like you did with 76--Everything. Do NOT just overwrite the files in your normal server folder. That's how I did it, at least. Once it started working, I just renamed the Rev76 Folder to backup, and used Rev80. Hope that makes sense at all.. =/

i made whole new folder, all rev80 files, still sigsevg

Hm. Did you dump your database, and then re-install? If not, that may be an error.

i didnt dump my database.
i rather dont want to cuz i have alot of accounts lol
ill try that thnx.
btw where does my server save all the account info and stuff? what files/where?
ok i replaced the wamp files, and now it works again..
so the error came from wamp..
all acc gone now though

accounts are stored in the account table
characters are stored in the character table
storage holds the users items

You should dump these to a file every now and then.

WAMP included your MySql server, so you deleted your database and created a new one. That was probably the ticket.
