Hi,

I'm trying to change the wait time after dying from 60 sec to 30 sec, but cannot find where to do it.

Could any one give me the location of which file or DB function to edit?

Thanks!

Thanks for replying. Yes, I already know about where to change how long to wait until you can revive the character. What I mean is the DC time that you mentioned.

I seem to not find it in the source.

EDIT:

I found this in the source:

Code:
void HUDDisplay::updateDeadTimer(int timer){
	if(!Inited) return;

	char tmpstr[64];
	sprintf(tmpstr, gLangMngr.getString("$HUD_ExitingIn"), timer);
	gfxHUD.SetVariable("_root.Main.PlayerDead.DeadMsg.BtnExit.Text.Text.text", tmpstr);

	if(timer < 1 && !SendDisconnectRequest)
	{
		SendDisconnectRequest = true;
		PKT_C2S_DisconnectReq_s n;
		p2pSendToHost(gClientLogic().localPlayer_, &n, sizeof(n), true);
	}
}

Would I change " if(timer < 1 && !SendDisconnectRequest)" number "1"? to 0.30?

Code:
void HUDPause::eventQuitGame(r3dScaleformMovie* pMovie, const Scaleform::GFx::Value* args, unsigned argCount)
{
#ifndef FINAL_BUILD
	d_navmesh_debug->SetBool(false);

	        DisconnectAt = r3dGetTime() + 10.0f;

		if(gUserProfile.ProfileData.isDevAccount>0)
			{
				DisconnectAt = r3dGetTime() + 0.0f;
			}

	        gClientLogic().disconnectStatus_ = 1;

		DisconnectAt = r3dGetTime();

If I understand correctly, this make so dev accounts have 0 sec? or I'm I wrong?

What I wanted is so any account only has to wait 30 sec until DC when been killed.

in that case look for
float time = r3dGetTime() - TimeOfDeath;
and change the min format to sec

Exactly it didn't work.

I did find:

float time = r3dGetTime() - TimeOfDeath;
int t = R3D_MAX(60-int(time), 0);
hudMain->updateDeadTimer(t);

and edited it to:

float time = r3dGetTime() - TimeOfDeath;
int t = R3D_MAX(30-int(time), 0);
hudMain->updateDeadTimer(t);

however, it still does not take 30 sec to DC, still 60 sec.
