Unfortunately, we have experienced significant hard drive damage that requires urgent maintenance and rebuilding. All you did was change a type and remove some brackets? I doubt this would improve performance and it looks kinda messy because the use of brackets isn't consistent overall.

Uhh what? I moved all of the queries to stored procedures with connection pooling. This is overall a general improvement to the previous code base which used raw query calling and concise reader usage.
