Yes, i was thinking about paying a "Developer" to make me a topsite?

How much would you estimate for a habbo retro toplist with API and everything.

600/700 wth!
Can do that for £100 if someone can design!
The "API and everything" part can suck days for all we know. 500€ might be a good starting point not knowing what the whole deal's going to be like. Then again I'm not the least interested in the project so I'm here only to speculate. £100 is a bargain for anything taking more than a couple of hours so I wouldn't expect anything but a hobbyist's quality of work from someone offering to do it for chips like that. A good price and everyone may get satisfied but in a case when the compensation is that low there's the danger of never getting it finished or fully working in case the developer loses interest.

That would just be a simple login, register, password reset, account details changing and all that simple **** and the design coded, And i'm no hobbyist. Would take 2/3 days if i got stuck in, but at the minute would probs take me weeks, i spend all my time on GTA now days, so you'd be better of going with someone else, but 600+ is an outrage, im sure there's someone around here that will do it for like 200ish.

Well that's not exactly what an API means...

Those fixed prices are very problematic especially when the project is so small that an in-depth evaluation of how much time it'd take would already cost half the budget, at least as far as my time is considered.

I'm sure you're right though, plenty of capable devs out there with too much time to waste and with need for a quick bit of cash, but I think whoever ends up taking up on it if they do a good job on it they'll have sold themselves cheap. Personally I find my time more valuable than that as the project isn't something I have any love for - in fact I'd easily pay such sums to avoid doing even lesser boring tasks. Anyhow I don't want to come out as if I'm here to say that nobody should do it and that the request sucks, not at all. It should be great for someone else with spare time.

Comes with quality, Service and the warranty that it will work and that the developer will intend to fix any bug that has to be fixed.
Not to mention, a developer with the paper in hand will ask atleast 1200 to 1600.

oh btw, api's are a general things these days, but still expensive as hell.

I say that a normal service for any website development starts at 400-500 euro, nor a simple HTML template.
So If I would need to do I would request in 500- 1500 euro by the complexity and time I spend on development

It's really sad when I see people pitching themselves by claiming to be really cheap and end up snatching up a project. They give absolutely no value and the client will probably end up back at square one several months down the line because the developer has disappeared. :(:

Topsite source code was leaked a long time ago. Most of the websites use the same backend.
I don't remember where it was leaked but it is public.
