How the heck do I turn off "Thread Subscription" ?

For some reason I'm randomly getting subscribed to various threads, and it's spamming me email with update notifications...

How do I turn it off?!

Go to http://forum.ragezone.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

Then scroll a bit to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and set it to "Do not subscribe" or "... control panel only"
