Because it is injecting and hooking a DLL to an executable. I just told you.
It's a gamble most likely. Some people can, other's can't, depending on their operating system security policies, version, what security patches users have, etc.
And, it's good (as security measure) that they can't run it cause that means the data execution prevention system is working and not allowing the users to run injected malware. You need to understand that Main.dll, more or less, it's malware actually because of it's behaviour (injecting code into an executable and using the executable's internal function).

Also a headache and a red flag for others, they will just up and leave :X

what anti-cheat do you use? sometimes the anti-cheat itself doesn't let you in and just closes the client.. I've been through this before.
