I know this will probably be closed and put in archives or deleted or something.. but dang, I was looking through some of my favorited videos on YT and found this. Doesn't matter how good and 'custom' the newer servers are, Fame was where it was at.

I wish someone could recreate it's glory. None of this custom bullshit, just the good 'ole original stable gameplay, fun end-game; and active discussion board. I can't find it anymore.. and I honestly miss Deadly. Although when he was doing Fame when I was a part of the server, he wasn't the most advanced in objective development, though he's come a very long way..

You're probably right, but I don't really care. If Fame started up right this instance, with the original server it ended with; I would join it in a heart-beat. I could care-less what anyone else does. Even if I was the only damn person on the server. I would play that baby until I died.

I liked fame for a couple reasons. The rates were nice. It wasn't too hard. The farm aspect was awesome. However, I didn't-and I hate this in most servers- like the fact lots of things were donation based.

Do I have to like Deadly in order to enjoy his server? I don't think so. Also, I do not dislike him, everyone has their own opinion.

I participated on the closed beta of Fame (someone got me in :>) and boy was I amazed by it.. was also one of the first few to get a +9 set on the open beta.. it felt pretty neat, all shiny between all those vagrants Would love to play a server like that again.

I do agree that the clean flyff playstyle pre v15/16 was fun compared to know. If a server kept it like, clean v11 with just a few class balancing i would play it. itleast it wasn't as much 1 hit ko back then like now, i think.

If not for Deadly, the development scene for FlyFF would be much further behind. He was the reckoning.

The only people capable of doing so are the high server owners, who, obviously, already own a server in the top 3. No other user, as far as I can see, is capable of creating a clean server with no fancy updates like we do now, a steady community with no flaws like Fame had, plus the amazing development that was going on behind the scenes that let Administration keep track of what's happening. I don't see any server that was anything like Fame coming, ever.

Lol fame had a bunch of bugs, How is it the only people who can open a clean server are the ones at the top? just use clean v15 fix minor bugs and boom ur done

You're kidding, right? Fame may have had some significant periods of downtime, but never due to bugs and/or glitches. If I recall, they tunneled Gala's servers to gain access to the official files. There wasn't even any reverse engineered files, it was pure source. After Celestia made the Server Bypass on Fame, the official files leaked. As for bugs, any bugs on Fame were bugs on eFly at the time.

Nope not kidding and what you said isn't entirely true, I don't have them anymore but I used to have a folder of just screens of fame bugs it's no big deal we all get errors just saying No one has had a bug free server and a simple clean one would be easy to open.
