Is this possible?

Is it possible to replace the monster sprites in maplestory on client side? If it is how do i do that? Can some one enlighten me if they know please?

You have to edit the Mob.wz file for that. But it's just like that, you open up the file, edit the monster sprite, save the new file and replace with the original. Oh and then, you probably should export the monster(s) you just editted to .xml files to throw them on the server-side, as I think it changes the path the image is set on the xml so the file will be different than the original even though you haven't editted the structure, but path. I think.

Yeah, I don't see anything related to path in the xml, just opened up to take a look so you can try without exporting xml and just making the change for wz. I've added stuff before but unlike just editing, adding should get their xmls exported.

i figured it out but my mob wz file in harepacker ressurected doesnt show the images of the mobs .....can i have the file from yours?

ok what happened? i used mob_000 btw

also i tried that one BUT its different then the one i have due to it has alot less numbers and they atre all different

it also gives me an error every time i try and view the mob.wz
