You need to click the add button, not the check button. Did you try to click in the Help & About button? Seems the first logical thing i could possibly think if I couldn't use the program.

It just looks like what Sheen said, you are not filling in the properties correctly, as it comes up with an error saying no items...

You can try SunnyZ virtual machine image, it has everything set up and working 100%. Then you can just replace the server files or edit it the way you like the most. It is an easy way to start and learn.
