Jade dynasty [Request]

Hey ragezone members !

Could someone do a tutorial on how to set up a jade dynasty server, and share on the files. I wanna try to set one up.

If my any chance You cannot have Dual boot on your machine u can search for Charles Dave Server files they work with a virtual machine.

Um, im not using ubuntu using the regular windows 7 !
I've only seen tutorials with ubuntu..

For windows OS it is only possible with VMWare. :

If you know them well you can try either VMWare/vBox or CoLinux. Though I wouldn't recommend either for a live server as they have been known to be rather unstable on large server loads.

Well first of all there is something you gotta think about.

Machine Specs.

1-You'll need minimum of 4 Gb Memory Ram/Dual Core so that you can dedicate 2 of them to the virtual machine,this way it will process the information in a very smooth way.

Internet Performance

1-IF you have lets say...20MB Download and around 3-4 MB upload you will be able to Run a live server on a virtual machine without server overload.

I agree that Nothing can be compared to running a server from a real distro installed on your hard drive as Operating system BUT there is no problem about having Your Computer running a live Server From a Virtual machine as long as you have the necessary hardware and the correct configurations.

Kay.. I was following Atticus's guide before I came here, so now I'm wondering.. Me having wins7 makes Unbuntu useless?
