[Java] What to start off with?

[soulreaper33]

Well, I wanted to give it a shot at java, so I was wondering what do I download from the java website?

I was thinking the latest Java + Netbeans IDE, but I don't really know. So could y'all tell me what I should start off with? :

Latest Java, and JDK.

Oh ok, thanks and just now I realized it was a stupid question ._.

Yup.
But i s'pose it is logical in a sense.
And umm, don't study Java in a certain game, study it as JAVA. you get a better grasp of what your learning.
