Open your db and serach there for table, named "gameservers".
If it doesn't exist - try running RegisterGameserver.bat in your LS folder and than file "hexid(server 1)" rename into "hexid" and put to your GS configs folder.

You're missing the gameserver table. this table must be on the DB that has the accounts table if you're using split DBs. Open navicat/phpmyadmin and run the gameserver.sql in order to create that table.

ok heres my problem i cant login... my host file sez exactly what is sposed to so does my server.properties i just cant login... any 1 got some suggestions reply back asap

Is it on your PC or somwhere else?
If somwhere else, than does that PC have an external IP?
If yes, than post your console.

hi there,

at first, pretty nice guide!
but i've got a question too, guys :).
in case i only want myself to log into the server (with the client).. do i have to open those ports of the router, too? means no one else should be able to connect to the server even he got the external IP.

ah.. and another question about the client version,..
i used the files of this tutorial so.. do i have to install a interlude client without updates (/with updates?/.. - how do i know which version i need exactly?) and is it possible to log into my server with the same client i used for any other freeshard (in this case i used a interlude client with official updates an just changed the host, no special-updates or anything else).

means i've to leave the external ip blank and add my localhost IP to the internal ip adress? (-> no opened gameserver/loginserver port needed?!)
and second, full interlude client means with updates? cause in this case i'm not able to update the interlude-updates only. it'll patch kamael too.

i know i'm getting on ur nerves :fart: but that's the problem. i don't know where to get a FULL interlude client (means included updates) and... what surprise.. a new question :rolleyes::
how do i have to change the host file entry? 127.0.0.1 l2authd....?
