Not all games use their own models, most of the time you can create very new ones.

Acquiring a song from a game and acquiring a song from the same game is 2 different things, and yes I'm pretty sure every console game use their own models because they all have their items copyrighted now if your coming with knowledge you would know that and since you obviously think every game is from the same Game Engine you sir need some learning to do.

You say games have their own formats. And they cannot be imported into blender or other 3D software, and from there saved into another format?

Many games uses the same engine, simply because there's nothing in the way for using the same engine in several games. Saves you from making a new engine too, eh?
