Hello people.

I'm working on developing a server the Pirates Tales, and even managed to make it work. However, when opening the client, it opens and closes quickly on the image of the "Loading ...". Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thank you!

hi i need help wit my server aswell ):

idk why i go wrong i tried sql2000 i was not compatible, so i use 2005 it worked, at SQL Server Manager part, wen i try to turn on (LOCAL) (Window NT) cuz its offline, i get error saying: A connection cannot be established to (LOCAL)
Reason: SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
ConnectionOpen (Connect())..
Please verify SQL Server is running and check your SQL Server
registration properties (by right-clicking on the (LOCAL) node) and
try again.

can some one teamviewer and help me ?

Guys, thanks, I managed to solve my problem. Something (unknown) on my machine was giving conflict.

@ DejonB

First, do not know because it gave error when you tried to use SQL 2000, because my server is running with it. This error you mentioned, it happened that SQL 2005 is in conflict with SQL2000 - what was previously installed. Try uninstalling everything and delete all folders of SQL, and try to reinstall SQL 2005 (if it even though you're using), that perhaps the problem is resolved.

Here the same thing happened once and that was it.

See you soon!

actually when u use mssql2000, it may work in windows7 if you read guide properly some where in here...
and, no offense... in TOP/PKO server dev, you don't need to set ODBC
